HPC 向けデータセンターは、科学者、研究者のさらなる大きな要求を厳しい予算内でサポートする必要があります。
多数の汎用的な計算ノードを相互接続して運用する従来のアプローチは、台数に比例して性能を向上させることなく、実質的にコストを増加させてしまう、巨大なインターコネクトのオーバーヘッドが必要となります。

COWOS HBM2メモリを搭載
HBM2 テクノロジーを実装したCoWoS(Chip-on-Wafer-on-Substrate)により、コンピュートとデータが同一パッケージに統合され、前世代のアーキテクチャと比べて、3 倍のメモリ性能を実現しています。
PAGE MIGRATION ENGINE
プログラミングやパフォーマンスチューニングを、さらにシンプルにします。これまでは、GPU の物理メモリサイズが上限であったユニファイドメモリを、P100 では、GPU の物理メモリサイズを超えて利用できます。
